The Parish has adopted a publication scheme which sets out how it will tell people about its operations.

Bus stops and shelters
The Parish Council owns and maintains two bus shelters in the parish.

CCTV surveillance
The Parish Council owns and maintains the CCTV cameras at Manor Field Pavilion, Grange Lane, Thurnby.

Conservation areas
Part of the parish is covered by a Conservation Area - it is important that residents are aware of this when making any alterations to properties as permission may be needed from Harborough District Council for such alterations. For information as to whether your property is affected please contact the Parish Clerk.

Council offices
The Parish Council does not have an office. Amanda Burrell runs the Parish Councl Information Centre which is open on Wednesday mornings (term time only) from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon where you are welcome to call in and view planning applications, have free access to the Internet and carry out photocopying for which a charge is made.

Dog litter bins
The Parish Council funds the provision and emptying of dog waste bins throughout the village.

The Parish Council selects one area of the village each month for litter-picking.
